website in the works

I am very excited to say that it won't be long till my website is up and running. In the meantime, info on my Cotons can be found here, and also, on FACEBOOK, where I have a page. So if you are on Facebook, do a search for "ARDSLEY COTONS" and check us out. I posted lots of photos. I also hope when you are there you click "like" which means you will become a fan. I also just realized that I had forgotten to post photos of the parents of the newest litter! They are Zack (who is pure white and my stud male for all my litters) and Amelie, who was born a tri-color but still has lovely color on her ears and touches of amber on her body.

Ozzie

And this is Ozzie. Pure white.. and the last one born. He seems to gravitate to the little Warthog when he decides to snooze.

brother & sister

So cute how the pups are starting to pair off and not be just one "puppy pile". Here is Bijou cuddling up to his sister Lillie. Bijou is the one with the dark color, and Lillie has very pretty buff on her head and the most amazing black pigment already in on her eyes and nose.

My first Coton: YUKI

Yuki was my first Coton de Tulear. She is from Jim's Cotons: www.jimluippold.com who was one of the first breeders of Cotons in the US.

Yuki was born in early Sept., 2006. We went up to Jim's when his litter of four beautiful babies were ten weeks old. We fell in love with her the moment we set eyes on her, but we were on a waiting list (Jim's pups are in great demand), so we didn't know that day if she would be ours. Two weeks later we joyfully drove back up to get OUR baby and it has been a life like no other ever since. She started us down our path of Coton Addiction. :-)

Yuki has grown into a lovely Coton adult. She
is small, with a beautiful head, fantastic pigment, mesmerizing eyes and an incredible coat. She also has the sweetest temperament. She even SMILES!!

Her lineage is impeccable, and can be documented back 11 generations. And now there is a 12th generation as she and our boy Zack (more on him later) gave us Ardsley Cotons' first litter in April of 2009. Two boys and two girls (just like the litter Yuki herself was out of).

More on them later too!

Snow Day

Start of a new year, so it is time to start posting on my Blog. Thought I would begin with a photo of my gang having fun out in the yard on New Year's Day, enjoying the snow. Yuki is the leader, making sure squirrels don't enter "her" territory. And they all enjoy a game of "get the stick".
